What is TempMail 2026?

TempMail 2026 is a free temporary email (disposable email) service at https://mail.tempmail2026.xyz. It gives you an address ending in @tempmail2026.xyz instantly, with no sign-up and no phone number, so you can receive one-off mail such as sign-up verification codes, download links and trial notifications.

It runs on Cloudflare Workers, D1 and Email Routing, with no self-hosted server. The interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese.

Do I need to register an account?

No. You can create an address and read its inbox anonymously straight from the home page, with no username, password, phone number or third-party login.

An optional account exists so you can bind several addresses together and recover them on another device, but it is not required to use the service.

How do I create a temporary email address?

1. Open https://mail.tempmail2026.xyz.
2. The page generates a random address prefixed with tmp, for example tmp8f2a@tempmail2026.xyz, ready to use immediately.
3. To choose your own name, type a prefix of 1 to 30 characters; the domain is fixed to tempmail2026.xyz.
4. Paste the address into the site that needs verification and come back to read the mail.

If a prefix is already taken, pick another one.

Can it receive verification codes, and how fast?

Yes. Mail is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing and usually lands in the inbox within a few seconds to about fifteen seconds.

Once stored, each message is parsed by Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3.1 8B), which extracts the verification code or one-time login link and shows it directly in the message list, so you do not have to open the body and hunt for it. Extraction is a convenience layer and does not succeed on every message; when it does not, the full body is still there to read.

How long are messages kept, and do addresses expire?

Messages are kept for 3 days and then deleted by a scheduled job that runs daily at 00:00 UTC. Deleted mail cannot be recovered.

Addresses expire as well:

• Anonymous addresses not bound to an account: removed 3 days after creation.
• Addresses that never received any mail: also removed after 3 days.
• Addresses bound to an account: 7 days maximum.

No address here is suitable as a long-term mailbox. Save anything you need within 3 days.

The mail never arrives. What should I check?

1. Spelling. The domain must be exactly tempmail2026.xyz; one wrong character and nothing arrives.
2. Wait 30 seconds and refresh. Many senders queue outbound mail, so the delay is often on their side.
3. Check whether the sender blocks disposable domains. Banks, government services and platforms with strict anti-fraud rules often reject them outright. Nothing ever reaches this service in that case, so the inbox simply stays empty.
4. Try a different prefix. An individual prefix may have been blacklisted by that sender.

Can I send mail or reply from a temporary address?

Sending is supported technically but disabled by default. Outbound mail goes through Resend with SPF and DKIM configured, however the send quota for anonymous addresses defaults to zero, so nothing can be sent until the quota is granted on request.

This is a deliberate anti-spam measure. If you only need to receive verification codes, you do not need this feature.

Can I open the same inbox on another device?

Yes, as long as you remember the address. Access credentials are stored in your local browser by default and there is no cross-device sync, so clearing site data or switching devices loses them.

Typing the same address again on the new device restores access, provided it has not yet been cleaned up. For managing several addresses long-term, the optional account lets you bind them together.

Is a temporary email address private?

Treat it as a public mailbox. Address passwords are currently not enabled on this site, so anyone who knows or guesses your address can open that inbox and read it.

A random prefix is far safer than something like test, admin or 123, but it is still not a private channel. Do not use it for payment details, identity documents, internal files, or anything that would cause harm if disclosed.

Can I use it to sign up for a bank or work account?

That is not advisable. Mail is wiped after 3 days, addresses are recycled, and inboxes have no access password. If you ever need to reset that account password by email, the address will no longer exist and the account is effectively lost.

Temporary email suits throwaway, one-time situations. Use a long-term mailbox for anything important.

Which domains are supported?

The publicly available receiving domain is tempmail2026.xyz, so any address in the form prefix@tempmail2026.xyz will receive mail.

The underlying system supports multiple domains; the list actually offered is whatever the domain selector on the home page shows. Dedicated mailboxes on your own domain require separate configuration by the site administrator.

Is there an API?

Yes. The API endpoint is https://api.tempmail2026.xyz, and the site front end itself is built on it.

Public endpoints are rate limited: write operations such as creating an address or sending mail are capped at 10 requests per 60 seconds per IP. Please throttle automated test runs accordingly and do not use it for bulk workloads.

Is there a Telegram bot?

Yes. Search for @tempmail2026_mail_bot in Telegram, send /new to create a fresh address, or /bind <credential> to link an address you created on the website.

Once linked, every mail that address receives is pushed to your Telegram automatically, with verification codes extracted by AI as usual, so you do not need to keep the web page open. Each Telegram account can bind up to 5 addresses; use /address to list them and /unbind <address> to unlink one.
